Misdemeanor representation
17 year old daughter caught shoplifting. Never in trouble before. Pleading guilty going to therapy. Do we still need representation?

Hello. Yes, I strongly suggests that your daughter be represented. It reminds me of a case
that I handled where a young lady was charged with shoplifting in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. I represented her and the matter was resolved. She is now graduating from college with no marks on her record. Choosing not to have representation for your daughter could be a problem. Sometimes prosecutors are unpredictable. Will be happy to discuss this with you further.
