Re: co signed student loan
Hello. In my opinion, your wife should contact the bank or financing company where the funds were obtained and she also should consider filiing a lawsuit against the person that she
co-signed for. Your wife in my opinion is a victim of fraud. In fact, you may even want to report this to the office of the Illinois Attorney General. What concerns me is that now your wife is legally responsible for repayment of the entire loan. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
