Wrongful advertising

Could I be reimbursed for part of my tuition from my school if they didn't follow the plans to undergo construction to transform a beauty school to Empire. My tuiton was $18,000 to attend. Can you please email me some legal advice and I can tell you the whole situation thank you

Hello. According to your posting, you

relied upon a representation by the school that it would undergo construction to transform a beauty school to Empire. In my opinion, if this did not happen and you spent money for tuition in reliance upon this, you can consider filing a lawsuit for recovery of your money. It could be argued that you are a victim of fraud. It would help your case, if you have something in writing advising you of the school's plans to do this in definitive terms.

This would not be an open and shut case because there are other issues here to consider such as whether it was reasable to assume that the school would transform to Empire.

It could also be argued that there

was no written agreement between you and the school, so if you went to the trouble of getting money for tuition

that you did not use, you should be able to pay it back. As you can see

there are a number of ways of looking at your situation and I do understand

your frustrations. I will be happy to

discuss this further & in more detail.
