co-ownership
My husband and I are co-owners with my mother, father passed away, who is in a nursing home. If her funds run out before she passes away, and the nursing home comes after the house, can we then purchase her half of of the house or are we going to lose it? Should something be done now to keep that from happening? We dont want to lose the house.

Re: co-ownership
Do you live in the house, if so did you live there with mom for over two years?
If not, you must act right away, or you risk losing the house.
