Elder care Laws
Mother is in nursing home now in illinois; her land in Missouri is in a trust but trust is only 2 yrs old & my brothers lawyer says the only way to save the land is for us all the children to buy it or illinois will seize the land to pay nursing home. Is there any way to keep the land without purchasing it?

Re: Elder care Laws
Missouri law is different than Illinois law so I would defer to a Missouri lawyer since that is where the property is.
