Yes, my mother has long term insurance that will cover the $5,000 per month fee. I have a claim open but reimbursement is 38 days after you submit proof that you paid the monthly fee with a copy of the check. They do not reimburse the $5,000 deposit.

What's your question? If there is a "security deposit" fee that is not covered by the contract, then that would be the resident's obligation. If it is a deposit for the first month's fee, then maybe it should be covered. Someone needs to review the contract and what was paid.
