mother and stepfather moving in with us
My mother and stepfather who is suffering from Alzheimers want to move in with us. We have heard that since he is not a relative we could be sued by his children if anything should happen to him.
Could we be liable and what should we do?

Re: mother and stepfather moving in with us
You are not liable to his children, but you may be liable to him. You may be better off putting him in a nursing home now, rather than in a crisis situation later.
email me if you have any questions.
