POA Abuse
What can happen to a POA who has stolen money from his principal by draining practically all monies without her knowledge. Now this principal needs to go to a nursing home, and he refuses to give the money for her care? What can I do to get this money back? What type of lawyer?
Thanks.

Re: POA Abuse
Hello. First of all you should immediately sign
and date a revocation of the authority of this Poa
to act. Next you should contact the Office of the
State's Attorney where you live to see if that office would be interested in prosecuting the offender. This is a very serious matter. Next you can file a lawsuit against the poa on grounds that he/sh violated the terms of the poa and exceeded his/her authority. I will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
