sued over unpaid debt to nursing facilty
being sued by nursing facilty claiming
three checks from social security never
made it to them. Social security claims
checks went to facilty and were cashed.
How can I be sued when checks went
from SS to nursing facilty and what do i

Hello and Happy New Year. I suggests
that you get a lawyer to contact the
nursing home. However, if you have been sued, it is important that a lawyer representing you get moving on the case right away to defend you. He
should file an appearance and a motion to dismiss, once it can be shown through documentation that the nursing home received the social security checks and that the checks were cashed. I can understand your concern. I will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
