Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Illinois
i'm wondering if i can be sued for making a wristband that says JONAS. Others feel that I'm implying that this wristbands is associated with the Jonas Brothers and that I can be sued for that implication.

That is my initial impression as well. What is your intent? I am sure the Jonas Brothers have protected marks registered. It is possible that this would be confusing and possibly considered to dilute their name in the marketplace. It would be wise to speak with an IP attorney to discuss the details further.
