Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

2/3 of my income is alimony. My ex is laid off after 22 years with the same company and makes fantastic money. I checked with the garnishment dept and It is true. I will be homeless next month because my job will not cover bills.If I move in with my boyfriend will I still be able to receive alimony if I move out when he gets work and how do I know if he found a new job?
