17 Minor Pregnant
My 17 year old daughter is pregnant. we live in Illinois. She's getting marrried next week to er 18 year old boyfriend. Will she then be considered an adult?

Your question is interesting. A married and/or pregnant woman in IL is still a minor. She can become emancipated (at age 17) with the consent of her parents. However, do not get too worried, as the minor is treated like an adult for most important issues. For example, a minor is treated as an adult for medical issues (i.e. consent, etc), and almost always for criminal issues.
