Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I have a 7 month old daughter with a gentleman that I really didn't know. We have established paternity and child support but the judge did not give him visitation stating the father and I need to sit down and talk and get to know each other and try and work something out. I have absolutly no problem with this or him seeing his daughter but I do not want his current girlfriend around. I do not trust her around my daughter and she has caused problems from the begining. My question is, do I have the right to say who can and cant be around my daughter if he has her?

No, not really. If you can not prove that her presence is causing any harm, a court will likely feel you are merely being jealous. If she were not his girlfriend, but his mother would you be saying the same thing. You must be able to show the court an objective reason for your complaint.
