Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Im 17 and have a 3 month old son. When I had my son I was not married to the baby's father. My question is that the baby's father and grandmother are trying to take my baby away from me. Is there anyway that they can take my son from me? We have not gone before a judge or anything yet. I want that to be a last option.

The best option is for you and your parents to ask a Judge to order your boyfriend to pay support for the baby and award you full custody. It is very unlikely that either your boyfriend or his family will be able to take your child away from you.
