Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

In 2007 I received a judgement against my ex for non child support related expenses, ie uncovered medical bills, sports, piano lessons, school, etc. Our 2002 divorce decree does not have a time frame for submitting these non child support bills. She did not pay the 2007 judgement until 2013 and during that time frame between 2007-2013 I attempted to collect on the judgement and the new bills. In 2011 our divorce decree was modified to where bills must be submitted within 30 days. Is there a statute of limitation that I can seek reimbursement for the bills I paid between 2007 and when the order was changed in 2011??? These are non child support bills but bills that are ordered to be paid in our divorce decree.

You've waited quite awhile but you may still be able to collect. Any expense for the child/children is considered to be child support.
