Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am 18 and in my senior year of high school. My mother says i cant move out? Is that true? Do i have to stay with her even though im 18?

You can move out. You are legally an adult. But remember that once you are out of the house, your mother has no obligation to supoprt you or pay any of your bills including gas, car, cellphone, rent, school expenses, etc. You are better off staying at home if you can at least until you graduate.
