Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have a 4 year old son. I have full custody of him. His father is allowed a weekend a month. This year he is about $400 short in child support. I asked him to help pay for his extra activity and he said yes then shortly after he said no he wasn't going to help. I am suppose to take him this weekend to Indiana which is 2.5 hour drive each way. I can't afford to be doing the running, and raising him since he really isn't helping support him. The only reason he wants him is because it hurts me. Do I have to take him or am I just breaking the rules too!

As long as it is not his weekend, you have the right to take the child on vacation to Indiana. You can not move there without a court order or his written consent.
