7 years ago I receive a letter from the IRS stated that my ex-boyfriend who is the father of my first born child. He was using my daughter social security number for his taxes. How isn't possible for him to get a copy of the social security number if he is not in the birth cerficate. To the person who I am married now, and he wants to adopt my daughter because he's been in her life when she was about 2year old. Ex-boyfriend stop payment child support since August 5, 2010, so he doesn't want to make any payments anymore.

And your question is.... Your husband can seek to adopt your child. Tax issues are VERY difficult to resolve. Send a letter to IRS by certified mail on the issue of boy friend using child's SS no.
