Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Im 19 years old and a college student. My birth mother gave me to a close friend of the family and never supported me. I want to know is there any way I can sue her for child support. My birth mother lives in texas and I live in Illinois.

I do not believe it is your right to support. It was your mother's right, or your custodian's right to support.
