Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am 17 years old, and My father has custody of me, but my mother has open visitation with me. My mother, a few months back, has had a drug problem. She has been in treatment for 2 months and has been completely sober. My father all of a sudden decides to tell me I cannot see my mother anymore. His lawyer told him not to let me go see her, even though there are open visitation rights and nothing has gone through the court system stating I cannot see my mother. Can he stop me from going to see her when it is her weekend with my when nothing has gone through court yet?

If he prevents you from having visitation with your mother without a court order in place saying that you cannot have visitation with her, then he is in violation of the current court order.
