Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

17 years old & pregnant

My daughter told me last week that she was pregnant and I told her to leave. she moved in with her 18 year old boyfriend and his mother, His mother asked that I give her Temp coustody of my daughter and I did. I have been sending the mother money for my daughters food and care/school. And my daughter is still on my insurance so she has coverage for her pregnancy. What I want to know am I still responsible for her until she is 18? And if so what?

Given the information you have provided, Yes. Without emancipation or some other order of the court, you are responsible for a minor child (generally) until they are either 18 or 19 if still in high school while 18.

What is it that you are concerned about?
