I have a 13 yr old son - last easter 08 his father went on vacation before our son's spring break began. the father wanted his son to meet him out of town which would have our son on a plane both ways alone. i told him he was not allowed to go. we have a court order and it was his time to be with him there is nothing that discusses transportation in our court order. he wants me to sign a paper sayign that i violated the court order if i don't sign he told me he will have to take legal action.

Blackmail is also illegal. If its taken him over a year to raise the issue, he isn't likely to get very far with it. Don't sign anything. Do tell him that if he wants to change the agreement, he will have to take it into court. You have defenses to his claims that may be sufficient for a court to find that you were justified.
