Abandonment legal notices

Does the state of Illinois require birth parents to publish "abandonment notices" or "termination of parental rights" for adoptions? If so,what year was it established?

Hello. To my knowledge,

the birth parents are not

required to publish. Although

there is a requirement of

publication in some adoption

matters where the court

would want an absent parent

to have constructive notice

of proceedings for adoption.
