Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

addendum to will

My mother wants to make an addendum to her will which states that i can stay in her house until i so desire rather than selling the home upon her death and dividing the proceeds amoung my brothers and sisters. We live in illinois. Will a notorized form work for this? What kind of costs will i encure from inheriting the home?

You need an Illinois Land Trust to accomplish this.

This has several income tax, estate tax,, property tax, medicaid and other legal implications.

You need a lawyer to make this transfer for you.
