Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

adoption laws

is it against the law for an attorney who is against you to bring up my adopting a child out during a court case that is irrelevant to the adoption? i understood that that particular event was to be considered private and never to be brought up especially in a court of law

Re: adoption laws

If the attorney found out about it,

the information may have been leaked

by another source. Of course, this

information and the file are to be

impounded. You may want to ask that

this be investigated. Certainly, the

fact that you adopted a child is

irrelevant and immaterial to the issues of your present case.
