Adoption by another party

My parents want to disown me, and are

taking neccesary legal steps to do so. I

am a minor, and a friend's parents

would like to adopt me. How would they

go about it?

In order for your friend's parents to adopt you, your parents will have to consent to the adoption. You are still a minor. I don't know what "legal steps" you're talking about, so I can't give you a good answer. Get the advice of a lawyer. This site is to answer simple legal questions. This is a complicated matter.
