adoption...attention lesley

Okay well I had my ex wife talk to her lawyer and ask him how much everything would cost to go through with it and he quoted her 1500.00 for the whole process�but I had another attorney tell my current wife that her would ask for a 500 retainer fee and that would cover everything�which one is the right one�can you give me any information regarding this

It is clear that any attorney that charges $500 for the entire adoption process is either not knowing what adoption involves, or it is some sort of scam.
