Re: anullment in state of illinois
Hello. In Illinois an annullment can be granted when a person is able to prove that they married their spouse
based upon certain representations by their spouse that they recently learned were not true, and that they would never have married had they known this information. Usually this new information must be obtained very soon after the marriage; perhaps no later than a few months after the marriage date. For instance, if a woman marries and her husband failed to tell her that he is sterile and within a month he finally tells her, this is a basis for an annulment. I will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
