Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I apply for my divorce but when i got to the court the judge said a need it a settlement. My lawyer took my money, and did nothing for me. this happened 6 years ago and i don't have more money to invest on this what can i do?

Go to legal aid. The fact that you didn't understand what was going on doesn't mean that your lawyer took your money and did nothing. That was six years ago. What have you done about pursuing your divorce since? Apparently, nothing.
