Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Need Assistance with Emancipation with an Unwilling Mother
I would like to know if the laws in Illinois allow me to file for an Emancipation, if my mother is completely against it. My mother is very controlling, and my father, I haven't ever met. I have many reletives in Texas, which we moved from about last year. I have been asking to live with multiple different reletives, and she's denied me this many times. My mother has never been very reasonable, and treates me unfairly, as if I am lesser than all my siblings.
I have tried many ways to get her approval, but she has been stubborn, and has no other reason than ''Because.''
She is quite deceptive when talking with people of the law, so I know if I tried to tell authorities my situation, she would smooth talk her way out of it, and with her charisma, she would be able to pull it off. I seem to have no chance at all.
I had lived in Texas my whole life, my whole family is in Texas, and I find the schools that I've attended of Texas to have a lot more quality than that of the school I currently attend here in Illinois.
Also, to add onto this, we don't even have our own house. We live in an apartment with another family, who's more controlling, and treats us unfairly, as if we don't matter as people.
Can someone give me some info?

How old are you? Do you have any means of supporting yourself? Have you considered asking your mother to attend counseling?
