Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

attachments to petitions

I wish to file a Petition To Reduce or Increase Child Support with the court. Are attachments to petitions allowable, as I wish to provide additional information in support of the petition? And if so, is there any required format for attachments, or can they be in basic form? Thanks

Re: attachments to petitions

Yes, you can attach your docs to the petition just reference them in your petition so the judge knows what she/he is looking at. Furthermore make sure they are clear and easy to understand.
