how far back can an ex-wife ask for reimbursement for a medical bill. We are both to be spitting the medical bills. She withholds everything through a Medical QDRO, I have not been given a bill in the last 5 yrs she is now threatening to file a RTSC to be reimbursed, the original divorce decree indicates she has 72 hours to notify me of any medical expenses incurred. We live in Illinois, can she do this even though she is the one that withheld them?

She can do it and the court will still order you to pay a portion of the bills. The fact that she has withheld them from you should be argued to reduce the amount of reimbursement.
