bank lock boxes

When your husband has a lock box and the spouse's name is listed on the box, if she finds envelopes of money in the box can she legally take it.

The fact that a spouse is a co-signer on a lock box does not make everything in that box belong to the spouse, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. The question I would have for the spouse who is putting the money in to the box is 1. Where is this money coming from and why is it being hidden from me.
