can a birth mother leave the state of residence with the child without telling father. they are not married but since pregnancy father has been supporting both mother and child

If no case has ever been filed with respect to the child, then there are no restrictions. Mother can leave. Whether that is best for the child is a different issue. If a case has been filed and an order entered, then leave of court or consent of Dad may be required
