Booted Car

My ex husband and his brother got numerous tickets on a car that I purchased for him and I. They eventually let the car get towed and demolished because it was never picked up. I eventually purchased another car for just me. Last year in the fall it got a boot put on it and was towed as well for all the unpaid parking tickets that had accumulated from both myself, my ex and his brother. I ended up paying all that was owed and he got away scott free. My question is can I sue him for his portion of the total if his name is on the bill to show he was partial owner of the vehicle?

Probably yes. Is it worth suing, not sure. Depends on the money involved.
