can my boyfriend adopt my daughter?

my daughters father has never been around for her and she's 9 1/2. because i decided to go through the state to get child support, my daughters father now is offering me $20,000 to sign off his rights. I know that he can't do that unless she's being adopted. Can my boyfriend adopt her or do we have to be married?

Your ex can give up his parental rights. You have to be married to your boyfriend before he can adopt your daughter. Please call for a free consultation.
