Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My boyfriend was divorced in Sept. of 1995.. All of these years his ex wife has collected 1/2 of is Union pension even though she was remarried in Oct of 1996..is this legal?

Yes - it is not maintenance or alimony - she was awarded a portion of his pension as part of the property settlement. Her remarriage is irrelevant.
