Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My boyfriend and I are probably going to split up. What are his chances of getting any custody rights to our daughter if he will be living with his dad and brother and they are both felons. My boyfriend does not have a very good background either. I dont trust his family at all they will just drop my baby off with anyone and I dont want to stress about where she is, is she ok, is she being taken care of properly...etc They live in a bad neighborhood. I lived at his house when I was pregnant and did not like what I saw at all I dont want my daughter there. There was a shooting right in front of his house. I just stress so much about what is going to happen. Please let me know if he has any chance of getting custody.
