Buying another home

I am moving out and will purchase another home. When we divorce does the spouce have a right to use this home as part of the settlement? In other words can she have a piece of it. I know the primary is part of the decree. Is this not a wise move.

Your divorce settlement will settle who gets what - after the final decree, what you obtain will not be accessible unless you don't cover that in your final decree.
