Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I just want to know if there is a chance I can get a lawyer for free or discount rate in chicago Il because my childs father is taking me to court for visitation. I earn 40k a year but due to bills and school loans I cannot afford a lawyer.

I doubt that you would qualify for a free atty. I believe Kent Law School operations a sliding scale family law clinic.
