name change
Hello,
I got married in TX July 2007 and I would like to change my name. I have moved to IL and have lived here for over a year. Do I need to change my name with the state of TX or IL?

Illinois. If you're in Cook Cty. the filing fee is $294 and then you have to "publish" the case for three weeks. Your court "return date" is typically about 6 weeks after the date of filing.
