changing my childs last name

i got marry and want to change my daughters last name. She does not carry her fathers last name he has never been in the picture so she is using my last name . what can i do?

File a petition to the court to change her name, and explain to the judge why. The judge should have no problem, issue the order, and your done. If you have more specific questions, feel free to email or call our office. Good Luck!
