Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

When can my child chose which parent she wants to live with

I am 15 years old and have a horrible time dealing with my parents. Because of thier joint custody agreement i have to go with my dad on certian days and my mom on certian days.I have heard that there is something that you can do so that you can chose which parent you want to see and when and you are not forced to go with one or the other. Is there some kind of an age limit or something. Please let me know.

I know it's tough being caught in a situation like this. You've got to remember it's hard on your parents too. Once the court rules, you must accept it. You will be free at 18 to do as you wish. Until then, try understanding that your parents just want to spend time with you.
