Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
child custody
my ex-husband is wanting to control my life and making false accusations b/c of our Daughter. He is super paranoid b/c of my bf of 7 months is in our Daughters life. Does he need to meet whoever is in her life? Does he need to know our exact location and need me to answer the phone at all times? Is there a problem with my boyfriend sleeping over or taking my Daughter to sleep over there? My ex keeps harassing me by sending constant emails and vm's demanding I communicate every part of our life. I gave him 3 warnings to stop harassing. Now he contacted an attorney saying he has no other option. I won't talk to him when he yells and argues. He says I'm not communicating and withholding information about our Daughter. What can I do to stop the emotional stress? We have joint custody.

Re: child custody
Of course you do not have to give into harassment, or jealousy from the ex. He may come after you because he is angry and you will have to explain your situation to the court. I would need to know more facts, but perhaps a restraining order is appropriate.
