Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Child custody
My fiance's ex-girlfriend neglected to
take their two year old daughter to the
doctor and we told her to do so. We
ended up taking his daughter to the E.R.
and she had pneumonia and spent four
days in the hospital. As the non-custodial
parent what are his options as far as
court is concerned. We would like to
modify his child support agreement that
states he pay her wages after two days of
work are missed. If she had taken her to
the doctor, she wouldnt have had to miss
work. We feel she's unfit and that he
should have joint physical custody. What
are his options?
