Child custody

Grandparent rights ? Daughter unfit, son in law has custody of 8yr.daughter.To punish us, he withholds visiting, He is sometimes neglectful, he works full time, leaves her with his sister and her two children, who moved in with them to help pay rent. Children services were called in and determined that He was the better of the two parents. Do grandparents have any rights regarding custody?

Hello. I can understand your concerns. I currently am familiar with a case where a grandmother has

"intervened" in her daughter's case and now has physical possession of her

granddaughter. It appears as if she will soon have custody. There are certain standards that a court will follow before allowing a party to intervene. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
