child custody and parental rights

My son's girlfriend became pregnant. He is more than willing to be responsible, but after she found out she was pregnant, she has refused to see him. He wonders what rights he has concerning this child and if there is some what to get custody after the child is born.

After the child is born your son an file a lawsui to determine paternity. If he is determined to be the father the court will award him at least some visitation if not some type of acutal custody. Until a court awards him legal rights, he has none.
