No, but unless there has been some history of domestic abuse a court would provide for each parent to know where the other resides, at least if there's a child involved so that each parent knows where the child is at all times.

Generally yes. There are plenty of exceptions, but a father usually gets even more than knowledge of where the child is.

Its worth adding that you should make sure that court documents reflect that you are the father. If you were not married to the mother at the time of birth and your name does not appear on the birth certificate, then you will need to establish your parental status before you go after any rights.

Beyond that I agree with the two other answers: Fathers usually have a right to know where their children are and to seek visitation. If there is a history of abuse (or allegations of abuse), then some exceptions apply.
