Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have a child from a previous marriage and am paying child support. I recently heard that an appellate court in my state (Illinois) had found that if someone in my situation was to get remarried, that the income of the new spouse could be considered, along with my income, to determine the amount of child support. First of all, is that accurate? Secondly, if that is accurate, does that same appellate court ruling apply to Illinois civil unions?

A second spouse's income is not considered when modifying child support from a prior marriage. The same would hold true with a civil union.
