Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I currently have a child support agreement in the state of texas. Aa of july, I have moved to Illinois. I want to terminate my son's fathers right. I contacted the attorney generals office that I hold the child support agreement with and they told me I needed to contact an attorney. I have a few questions regarding this however. Is there a certain type of attorney I need to contact, where do I contact an attorney(in my IL or back in tx), how do I locate a pro bono attorney(assuming one will help me)?

You can't just terminate your son's father's rights just because you want to. You must have a legal reason for doing so and you must have someone to adopt the child after his father's rights are terminated, i.e., a stepfather, perhaps. The fact that father made not have made all of his child support payments is not a justifiable reason. I doubt very much that any attorney would take on this kind of a case pro bono.
